Odd Airtime Behavior After Latest Upgrade
  • Just upgraded to 2.3.1 and a few oddities

    The software is streaming BUT

    1) Adding content to a scheduled show does not display the target screen (see attached)
    2) There is an error "Can not connect to the streaming server 401, Authentication Required (HTTP 1.0)" BUT the stream is working

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

check the user-/password-settings in Stream Preferences => Stream 1 => Additional Options
if you did not change it, the password should be "donthackme" or "hackme". otherwise type in what you decided when installing icecast.
you can also check icecast.xml for this info. afaik this did it for me.

and for the "missing-show-window" of your first screenshot...

... I would guess the "Show-Windows" is just beneath the Library-Files-Window. Just scroll down...

If the browser window-width is too small, some elements are chopped out of display.

For the Status-Infos on Top this is really annoying, because the first thing chopped out is the TIME!
I'm going to open a ticket for this soon...

  • Where you select add/remove content from the menu on the calendar, it pops a windows over the calendar with the right pane missing

I checked the password for icecast and it's all as it should be.

As I mentioned, the stuff is working and streaming but throws an error

    Thanks!

ok, this seems to be different problems...

    the screenshot looks curious.
Is it possible that the show has another owner than the logged in user?
Or is this show timed in the past?

    Airtime-System-Check is also ok?

  • Good Morning:

Is it possible that the show has another owner than the logged in user? No
Or is this show timed in the past? No

  • Well it's perhaps not the most elegant solution but something I overlooked

I just did a sudo apt-get update and it took care of the problem

Still do not know the cause but this will take care of the issue for the time being

    Thanks!
