We are new to this application, and would like to give it a tryout, however we would like to install it on a hosted solution, is there a way to do this?
You have to use a SSH access. If you can choose your GNU / Linux distribution, you will prefer Ubuntu or Debian because Airtime's got dedicated repository. Explanations are here. Otherwise you must do a manuel installation. The manual and the wiki contain a lot of helpful installation informations.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, seems that our current hosting doesn't allow ssh access and the option to try the demo requires a credit card, which my employer doesn't want to supply :S

On behalf of Sourcefabric, I can say it's completely risk-free. We are not out there to fleece unsuspecting people. The credit card requirement is there because that's the only way our third-party provisioning system works.
