Why not enable the following:

airtime.domain.com? This is much easier. However, you may change Airtime to a subdirectory by viewing the following:

because I need it to use the SSL server (https - only one certificate per IP).

Followed the instructions in your link. Result:

service airtime-playout restart

Restarting Airtime Scheduler Engine: chown: cannot access "/etc/airtime/liquidsoap.cfg": No such file or directory
Done.

So now I'm wondering how airtime managed to install without this file.

The subdirectory might not be the problem actually... can you point me to the config for running airtime on an SSL server please?
