ok. michael. what is the #ffeedd value of the blue background? so i will
use this, make a small image and that is being centered as it is right now
anyway.
(or, doug, could you check the colour code and send it to me?)

the problem is that the panels in the live mode application are also so
white that with a white desktop background it is harder to *identify* each
panel. so a blue or gray or whatever background makes it easier to run the
application on the top. the background means the desktop, not the
application panel colour.
if you would want to create a background image that would be the desktop
background that would be great.
