The 3.5 is the first major relase under the Sourcefabric label. The RC features
open-layers based geolocation, multiple authors management, a new caching
system, a new media archive, new widget-driven home, flexible frontend access
to images etc.
Please feel free to download it and start playing with it. As usual, please
not that this is a release candidate not meant for production environments.
What you won't see in the RC is the new streamlined UI (for a preview and the
related discussion see this thread in our forum http://forum.sourcefabric.org/index.php/t/3241/), and functioning multiple-
authors front-end features. That will all make it into the general
availability release scheduled for the second half of January.
You can help us make 3.5 shine by testing, testing, testing and suggestions,
suggestions, and comments.
i have installed 3.5 Release Candidate 1 and found two problems:
1 - the admin home page (attached file) is missing something .... CSS,
some includes ...
2 - there is no button to save authors changes. It is possible to edit
author info but cannot save it
Best regards,

Please check whether you can access css files from the browser, look at the direct links in the source code for the page. If you can't it should be something related to permissions or .htaccess file.
What platform, browser and broswer version are you using? Please let us know this info in order to check whether the missing _Save_ button for the authors screen has something to do with some specific environment.
the problem happens only on administration homepage, all other pages
(articles, issues, ...) are ok!
Attached is the homepage i get, you will see it starts with a table tag ...
I am running campsite on a Virtual machine VMWare with CentOS 5 kernel
2.6.18-194-26-1-el5.centos.plus and i have tryed to edit authors using
Mozilla Firefox 3.6.13 and Google Chrome 8.0.552.224 on Ubuntu 10.10 and
no save buttons on both ...
Many thanks,
