Warning cannot modify header info?????
  • Hello folks, this is my first real post here so a big Hello to you all. I have been following threads and learning as much as I can from you and from the manual. So far I've read loads of useful content and have learned loads about Campcaster and Ubuntu in general, so thank you all. I hope I can give something back to others as I learn more about this wonderful Campcaster environment, I am truly addicted.

    Anyway, I have been working tirelessly to get Campcaster up and running in a small community station here in Ireland and I've finally got it going. But I'm trying to eradicate some problems I'm having and hope someone can help.

    Most of my issues are with the scheduler. When I try to stop it from the web browser I get the following error and it won't stop-

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in /usr/share/campcaster/www/htmlUI/var/html/ui_handler.php on line 475

    I can stop it from the station machine and I get -

    Scheduler is running.
    Scheduler is running.
    Scheduler did not stop. Returned message:
    Stopping campcaster scheduler: campcaster.

    Scheduler is running.

    Any suggestion how to fix this?

    thanks so much
    J

    That's a known bug in 1.4.0-beta4. For now, please start/stop the
    scheduler on the command line, eg:

    $ sudo /etc/init.d/campcaster-station start

    or

    $ sudo /etc/init.d/campcaster-station stop

    Cheers!

    The Linux Audio Conference is going to be near Dublin next May:

    http://lac.linuxaudio.org/2011/

    It's the first time this highly recommended conference has taken place
    outside of continental Europe.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks Daniel, I just registered, the conference looks great.

    Thats fine for the scheduler.

    Cheers
