If you want to edit and do the additional make-up of radio signals
afterwards - we recommend (before any distribution of audio signal
towards the transmitter) to use a standalone dynamic reduction tool
(dynamic compression, DeEsser, level maximizing) for pseudoacoustic
improvements of the sound spectrum and listening impression.
I wonder if anyone has tried using Campcaster with JAMin:
This could be done by linking two machines with an SPDIF cable, but
what's potentially more interesting would be to route Campcaster output
via an ALSA to JACK plugin directly to JAMin on the same machine.
If Campcaster uses an mpd backend in future, this would also enable
connection to JAMin because mpd has a JACK output plugin.
