Hi, By far the easiest way to install on Ubuntu 7.10 "Gutsy Gibbon" is to use the Campware Ubuntu repository. It is at this address: deb http://code.campware.org/ubuntu gutsy main Add that to your sources in Synaptic under Settings -> Repositories -> Third Party and then refresh. You should then search for the packages, which are named campcaster-libs, campcaster-station and campcaster-studio. Also, we are in the testing phases of the 1.4 "Monrovia" version of Campcaster. This is significant because it includes our long-awaited port to Gstreamer 0.10, which should greatly improve audio performance as well as solving quite a few other issues. To test that, you can install our 'development environment' version, and the steps for installing are here: http://code.campware.org/projects/campcaster/wiki/DevelopmentEnvironment Note that this version is only for testing and not for production. We still have a few issues to work out there. But we can get to release faster if others help us to test and squash bugs.
