Hello,
Is there an option to generate a playlist with a given duration.
We will schedule music AFTER the news which is downloaded in a file (5
minutes before the next hour) and the music after this news must go
until the station-tune of the next hour so its duration is not always
the same.
Maybe there is a possibility to schedule a file after the news from e.g.
59 minutes where the next file (station-tune and hour-beeps) start at a
given time (so it starts BEFORE the end of the previous like in Raduga =
windows).
Thanks,
Han.
We are now in test to use campcaster for local (ether) radio in The
Netherlands 24X7.
ps,
Thanks Juan and Douglas for the soundcard settings but...
option change in the modprobe.d/als-base won't help I replaced the index
from -2 to 0,1,2 ect but still the order after reboot is unpredictable
I will look at http://alsa.opensrc.org/MultipleCards en if there is a
solution I let you know.
2) The ability to start a playlist based on an external trigger, in this
case the end of the network stream. The problem will come when you need to
fade out the playlist to start the next news broadcast, which presumably
would be at a set time.
But we'd very much like to see Campcaster do these things; maybe this is
something for your station to commission or make?
