It would be good to know what you mean by this; if you changed the
config files /opt/campcaster/etc/campcaster-studio.xml and
/opt/campcaster/etc/campcaster-scheduler.xml, then please check if you
have a .campcaster/campcaster-studio.xml file in your home directory.
This personal config file (if it exists) overrides the settings of the
default config file in /opt/campcaster/etc.

i searched in the "home" file and did not find the campcaster/campcaster-studio.xml file. for some reason, the program is not finding either sound card. perhpas i should reload ubuntu and start from the start.
