[livesupport-dev] meeting notes 2005-11-6
  • here are some notes from the meeting with akos, robert, sava, doug and me.

    conferences and presentations:
this month, LiveSupport will be presented in south africa to a number
of e-riders by doug and akos.
radio 68h will present LiveSupport on the 24th in jakarta at an AMARC meeting

we are thinking about producing 200 transmitter DIY kits to go with a
LiveSupport DVD or CD to target clients / users. the transmitter kits
will be custom made and carry the LiveSupport logo. they will reach
up to 100m and look like this:

    upgrading installer CD to 1.0.2
akos will set up a machine in budapest and produce a new installer CD
ISO based on michael aschauers howto files. this ISO should be
finished for the presentations named above.

robert will be working on the completion of the manual, specifically
the live mode. this will then become a PDF to go into the CVS and on
the ISO as basic learning material. it includes all features in
detailed description but does not contain a structure in use
scenarios or lessons. this will follow later, i.e. become proper
    learning material.

for the presentation in indonesia we are hoping to get 100 or 200 CDs
manufactured there to be handed out to the AMARC participants.

a number of new features for 1.1 have been added to the ticket system at:

radio hay from armenia may be ordering a small number of features to
potentially use livesupport for their radio network across the country.
