about the same concept: using iPod as an external FireWire drive to boot
a Linux distro unto say a Mac machine. the concept is easy: the whole
Linux distro is installed on the iPod hard drive - you just plug it into
a Mac, and boot from the iPod hard drive, basically ignoring the
internal harddrive of the Mac. and voila - anywhere you go, you have
your same Linux setup, your files, etc...
consider this with the ability to store some 50GBs of music on the iPod
(save 10GBs for the OS and other stuff off the 60GB photo iPod), and you
have your detached radio studio with you...
