[campsite-dev] The New York Times API: Newspaper as platform

    Hi all,

    I've been working on a a proposal lately that would hopefully enable the
    creation of a content API for Campsite. Such a content API would enable
    third parties to call Campsite (presumably via XML-RPC) to retrieve
    articles and other info that can then be used elsewhere.

    As it turns out, Smarty has an XML-RPC module, and it might not be too
    difficult to hook that up to certain content-related camp_ functions. I've
    filed a ticket for this, and it's here:

    Elsewhere, moves are being made in this direction. The New York Times, for
    example, is doing the same thing:
