Trying to install campsite 2.1.5 on Suse 9.0 install with apache and
mysql installed with Suse install.
I had a number of issues with dependencies, resolved these, one by one,
and now I receive an error stating:
Checking DATABASE module dependencies...
/bin/g++: line 1: [Desktop: command not found
/bin/g++: line 19: X-KDE-SubstituteUID=false: command not found
/bin/g++: line 20: X-KDE-Username=: command not found
mysqlclient library is not installed
The mysqlclient library IS installed, and is accessible through usr/lib.
Is this path non-standard?
I have been trying to get campsite working for a while now to test as an
altenative to a Macintosh based CMS currently used.
Thanks
Craig

I am not familiar with suse and its file locations, but you need also
mysql-devel packages.

Yes, the mysql-devel packages were installed as well. I'm thinking of
using Mandrake to test Campsite, Suse has some issues.
Has anyone used Mandrake successfully and if so, which release? I see
that Mandrake was used to test Campsite (according to campware.org) so
this is probably better...
Thanks Ondra!

I work on Mandrake and I know campsite works on it without problems. Any
version from 9.0 to 10.1.

Okay, decided to use Mandrake (nicer anyway) 10.1, with beta release of
campsite. Went further in install, all dependencies okay, once it starts
with the MYSQL part, I get this error:

I don´t think this is a Campsite issue, any ideas on what and why? It
seems so close to working, don´t want to give up now...
Thanks

Install libstdc++6-devel package. Which campsite version did you download?
