Custom Fields For Staff

    I have been using Typo3 to run a magazine site for the past few years and recently stumbled across Campfire. What intrigues me the most is the ability to place data all over the page without having to stick to block formats.

    I installed the software once (in a sub-directory) and it would not work. Taking a look at the code, I see it must reside in the root directory, so will install again once I move my Typo3 site to a sub-directory.

    OK, to the point (sorry for rambling) ... Campfire looks really complete but I would like to see a picture field and bio field for the journalist. Is there a way to add custom fields to the staff database without hacking files?

    Regardless, I am anxious to try Campfire.
