AIRTIME NOT PLAYING - ICECAST_PROCESS_ID : FAILED

    My icecast is not working.

    "ON AIR" is gray.

    And I see that ICECAST_PROCESS_ID seems to have failed starting.

    I HAVE TRIED
    - restarting icecast;
    - restarting airtime-playout;
    - restarting the server;

    None have worked.

    Hey, Voisses, I     can not upgrade it now.
    It's a complex installation made on CentOs, under virtual machines. It's a complex system of multi-stations that I don't understand yet.

    For now, I need it back to work.

    so let me say a maxim

    Where is your disaster preparedness? If you woke tomorrow and its all gone ,you have to rebuilt .So place this as a priority option

    Since Icecast is not an airtime dependencies then install icecast on some other machine and stream to  
    then
    • try update  su -c 'yum update icecast2   (just hope you are not using ogg) .if not
    • back up
    •  Remove and reinstall su -c 'yum remove icecast2

    sometimes you make an error in the icecast2. xml file try remove that and add a new one before you actually reinstall
