Hi,

we would like to setup a single Linux 1U server with a PCI card with 8/16 channels out for external encoding.

Can 16 instances of Airtime run on the same machine ? What PCI card with 8/16 channels can be supported ?

You need to learn how liquidsoap works...

This sort of set-up might be easier done with something like Rivendell, Airtime isn't focused a lot on the audio output part of the equation, for that it uses Liquidsoap and can output with Alsa, but not sure how it'd handle that many channels or if there is that level of support for multichannel output on liquidsoap with the same card.
