How to input stream in Opus and output in mp3 ? - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hi everyone,

I would love to stream live with Opus to airtime and then Airtime broadcast in mp3 to my listeners.

It's not possible to stream in Opus with BUTT directly. So I tried to broadcast on a seperate Icecast server, then adding a Webstream in the library and it works in preview mode but when it's played in the schedule there is no sound in the output. It seems Airtime can't transcode Opus in MP3 on the fly.

Does anyone have a solution to stream in Opus and strem out mp3 ?

I use iDealshare VideoGo to convert .opus to .mp3.
