Uninstall booktype and re-install
  • Hey to all.

I am a newbie for Linux and have one question after searching the discussions items.

I have produced one fault in the automatic installation of booktype 2.0 on my private notebook running Linux Mint 17.2 (based on Ubuntu 14.04). All went fine until I wanted to open booktype on my browser. I got a 404-message "Not found"). I think the Company's name has a mispelling ("&"). So the browser can not find my booktype installation.

How can I uninstall this programm for re-installing? A second install process will be aborted with the message (translated in English): the newest version of booktype is installed.

Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions.

    Best regards
    Joern

    Hi Joern,

It sounds like you have used the .deb package installation. Rather than re-install, let's try to find out what is wrong first. Do you have a file  /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/booktype-instance1.conf ? If so, please post the contents here.

    Cheers!
