We have a shoutcast server holding multiple mp3 tracks which play out as a random playlist 24 hours a day. In airtime, whenever we do not have a live DJ show, the calendar is scheduled to play this webstream. Recently a problem has arisen.
On AT we upload some files for scheduled playback - these are interviews running for 60, 90 sometimes 120 minutes. What has been happening is that the file will play for 16 minutes or so and then drop out and At then connects to the Webstream and plays it. The webstream is not scheduled to play in that block of time.
The webstream plays for about 130 hours of the 168 hour week. It's as if AT forgets that it is supposed to play the file in the timeslot and goes off and starts playing the webstream. We have set the default duration for the webstream to 24 hours even though the longest it ever plays in one go is about 12 hours. Could that be part of the problem ?
Any suggestion on what may be causing this or better, solutions to stop it happening? It does not happen all the time but has been increasing in frequency.
