Input Stream

    Hi, 

    I'm here hopeless after 3 days trying to connect anything to the Airtime input stream.
    I installed airtime following the guide on a Debian, Public IP server (no firewall), and all it's working fine, except Input stream.

    I tried to connect butt 0.1.13, 0.1.14, Mixx, RadioDJ with altacast
    I tried MP3, OGG
    I tried mountpoints with .ogg and without extension
    I tried to set the clients with / before and without slash
    I tried using source as source and empty
    I tried port 9000, 10000... sniffing with tshark and the traffic is there both ways

    I really don't know what more I can try.
    I really think the problem is with the liquidsoap

    If I connect directly to icecast is working.

    My target is to use butt 0.1.13

    Someone can help me?

    It also says your master is connected

    ignore those noise of client disconneted and new client ,there are just notification that was put in a script that whenever the pid of liquidsoap is check to see if its connected.
    In fact I went in my py script and change mine to say

    "are you there"

    and  the response I put

    "where the heck I should be ! everything is ok"

    Don't know what your issues are but you seem to take a sledge hammer (wireshark) to hit a goldfish

    smile and give your face a rest then shake hands with the one you love the best

    throw some music on

    and tell us if the lights comes on saying you are master

    Yeah, 

    [lang:3] master connected 

    and the frontend show me master input in red but for few seconds and no more.

    It's my third instalation over 3 clean vmware machine and I'm getting the same problem.

    I'm tired and maybe I must rest for some weeks.

    try  use butt 1.12.
    I found it more stable than 1.13

    or Nicecast on the mac

    1.12 uses GET
    1.13 uses PUT

    also try MIXXX http://www.mixxx.org/

    Do you have a firewall on any of the machine?

    take the auto switch on and off and do it manually.

    check also to ensure you have nothing else access the port 9000

    and also make sure this is not the port you are streaming from

    try another port like say 9010

    You don't have to mention the mountpoint in the 'master source connection url'. Try to set the 'master source connection url ' without it : http://5.39.60.234:9000 in your case ; my airtime master source is configured like that and it works perfectly with butt 1.13.
