So following the update instructions I did a sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade .. it ran thru doing the file updates and stuff.. when I log in and look at the "about" section it says I'm still running 2.5.1 did i do something wrong or is this just a bug?
yeah I got everything else working.. I cleared my browser cache and for a bit there I was getting a redirect loop which is why it has taken me so long to reply.. I couldn't login lol!! I just used putty to SHH into the server, edited the airtime-vhost.conf and commented out the redirect =) I don't really notice any changes tho.. I'll have a look at the release notes and see what is new and test
OK there actually seems to be a problem now with liquid soap or something I'm not sure what it is yet I'm just guessing.. I check the status and it says every thing is fine, shows that the scheduled song is playing and both icecast and shoutcast servers are working yet when I connect there is no audio..
It's not a bug, it's that 2.5.2 isn't even in the repo. "apt-get upgrade" keeps packages and installs new ones. Why would you want that? You should use "apt-get dist-upgrade" unless you have a particular reason to want old packages left behind.
