Will Airtime run in "live assist" mode?

    Or, just automation mode? How would I put it into "live assist" mode if it will run that way?

    i'd love to see a pause button which would stop the audio at the end of the song/event and wait, presumably by appending another second every second it's in pause.

    this would pair nicely with being able to encode incoming audio, for use with an external mixer in a (physical) loop inserting the metadata in the resulting stream is one of liquidsoap's specialties, i believe.

    as things are now, taking a mixer/console's output leaves a huge silent gap on the stream while the host is talking, and re-encoding that audio with another machine is inelegant at best and is lacking metadata.

    so..
    airtime1(w/ pause)->console+jock->airtime2+airtime1_metadata->output.

    Or maybe this should go over to dev.
