smooth live broadcaster transition without listener/server disconnection?

    Hello everyone.  My name is Bryon Stout.

    I currently use centovacast3.0 as my auto dj software with shoutcast 2.2.1

    One of the features that is a must for my station is for a live broadcaster to connect without shutting off the current stream. They simple press connect with BUTT (broadcast using this tool) and their live stream just fades in without disconnecting listeners or stopping/starting the server.

    Does Airtime offer this same feature?

    But also you can do this by stream handover in Icecast  found  in the manual here

    The disadvantage of method 2 is that you have no control over the stream and djs(live) can connect at anytime they so chose
