Does Airtime can do what i need ?

    Hi,

    I am a beginner in web-broadcasting and have a few. 

    I have to set up an Icecast server for a radio. They will send two separate streams from a computer using Winmedia software to the server. We want to use Icecast to broadcast these two streams over the internet. 

    Will Airtime (or even Icecast) allow me to have two input streams ?

    Well  are you speaking of two separate streams
    • bitrate like 128kbps and 192kbps
    • two separate genre like R&B and Talk or
    •  remotely two different stream server

    If bitrate and if different stream server yes but if different genre then you need either a modification in

    1. Icecast XML via mount points and/or listen interface ( I think Icecast can carry up to 25 mount points so 25 different Genre on a single listen interface) look at http://sourcefabric.booktype.pro/airtime-25-for-broadcasters/icecast-handover/  just take out the failover portion
    2. Liquidsoap (engine core for Airtime) you can do so with any amount of genre  (just mind-full of the server limits above) look at radio pi example
