Airtime for video

Are there any plans to extend airtime to cater for video content? I am looking for a solution for multiple video inputs (rtmp and ip webcam inputs mainly) and to then use airtime to schedule specific inputs on a schedule or trigger. For example I could have an outside reporter streaming to a protected feed on flash media server, as well as a studio feed which as a director I would then wish to switch a master output between various input sources.
