Unable to load Images after installing - Newscoop Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

I installed 3.5.3 in my shared hosting , every thing went smooth. selected the journal template as default . after the finish i was unable to see the images on the home page except the logo.

I can see only see logs in the apache error list below,

it's not from an erroro log but from access log file.
Any way you can try to open directly the image in browser (i.e. http://site/get_img?ImageId=67&ImageRatio=40 and you will see a error

Any particular reason to use the 3.x branch?

It is no longer supported and the 4.x is way better and more powerful.

its because when i tried 4.x version in the shared hosting i am just seeing blank white screen . but 3.5.x worked bit better .

Hi Andrey thanks for the reply , i have gone through the apache error logs but there is nothing i could find in it . only things showing is report i get from access log . i guess is it like something related to size/filetype for the images does not match? thanks

so, what did you see when open http://site/get_img?ImageId=67&ImageRatio=40 ?

just blank and an indication of broken image file.

in mozilla it show the same url on the page

enable php error logging in php.ini file and check the errors

there is a error and you need set up php.ini to get info about possible error. Please google it.

do you know if php gd is installed there? problem is resizing:

http://www.moviego.in/get_img?ImageWidth=134&ImageId=33

is empty, but without ImageWidth param it works:

http://www.moviego.in/get_img?ImageId=33

Thanks petr , but when i check the PHP GD ,it is enabled already and running . any help on that thanks
