Add multiple tracks to playlist

It would be very useful to be able to add more than one track at a time to a playlist, perhaps even with options to select a whole artist, band, genre or year of recording. More likely though would be the scenario where a user scrolls down the webpage and ticks all the songs that they would like to be added to the playlist before selecting "Add", a bit quicker than the current drag and drop or click and add of each individual track.
