Backing up Playlists - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hey guys,

The server i started running airtime on was garbage, now we are updating to a decent server, i thought it was a good time to do so with the release of 1.9.5. I backed up the original server, then restored it to the new server, however the playlist data did not transfer. i would like to grab this and load it on to the new server. any idea where it is located?

P.S, I am going to keep digging, but if you know i would appreciate the tip.

add a backup/restore tool in airtime interface will be a great feature :)

The playlist data is stored in the postgresql database. You will have to dump the database and then restore it.

but a good thing will be to integrate an user friendly command into airtime (web) for a lot of people ;)

Reply to @Albert+FR: I did try this before posting. i actually have my server setup to back up every night as well as save the backups for yesterday, the day before, the week before, the month before and the initial backup. But this doesn't appear to save the playlist files.
