I thought I'd repost this as the mailing list seems to be more active.
Dear All,
I'm experimenting with the Soundcloud uploading function and I'm trying to
find out the default options that it is applying to each track (programme).
The level of options on Soundcloud are rather limited and by default
uploaded tracks shouldn't be available for download but in the case of the
programmes uploaded by Airtime they are. Is it possible to edit this
behaviour?
cheers,
Chris

the default option for uploaded Airtime files currently should be a "private" file upload. Is this what your upload is marked as? They shouldn't be public...
Thanks. So just to confirm anything uploaded via Airtime will have the
download flag set to Yes? That's a shame as Soundcloud doesn't really want
us making copyrighted material available for download.
I'll contact Soundcloud and ask if it's possible set everything at their
end.

They are marked as private (requiring you to log in and change to public
with you want people to see them) but you seem to be only able to set the
Download flag when you initially upload.
