Unable to access Newscoop/publication - Newscoop Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hello.

I just installed Newscoop 3.5.2 and just after installation the server goes blank, and now when I try to access the dashboard I get an error stating that my site alias was not assigned to any publication. I however am unable to access the dashboard and correct that problem.

Any ideas?

hi,

- goto http://yoursitename/admin
- login as admin with defined password
- goto CONTENT\Publication
- click on Configure icon and change current alias (usually localhost) to
your site name

I get a 404 error: URL not found on this server when I go to mysitename/admin.

Do you think I might have to change my port number? Server on the 404 page indicates port 80, and if I remember correctly, the Newscoop install indicated 3306.

This is the error, specifically: The requested URL /var/lib/newscoop/admin.php was not found on this server.
