Recommended Stable Versions for airtime and linux

    Hello,

    The old stable versions recommended to me were debian wheezy with airtime 2.5.1.  However, I tried to upgrade php to 5.5 on wheezy, but it broke airtime 2.5.1.  Also, wheezy is getting old. 

    What is the latest stable combo recommended?  2.5.2.1 airtime with ubuntu 14.04 or some other method?

    I got the same question in mind atm.
    If there is no answer in the next couple of hours, I go for ubuntu 14.04 and airtime 2.5.1

    Although I can't claim to be an experienced user of Airtime, I've been using Airttime 2.5.1 with Ubuntu 14.04 for almost one year without any major problem.

    I went for 14.04 and 2.5.1 automated install.
    Experiencing frequent dropouts, every 1-5min a drop-off of 1-4secs.
    Same with 12.04 ;-(

    We have been using Airtime 2.5.1 on Wheezy without problems for a year. Earlier we had dropouts, but we switched to the real-time kernel, and that worked for us.

    Switched to RT in-place? And it worked? On a cloud server or dedicated metal? :-?
