Back up error

    I've been trying to do a back up of my site but it comes up with the following error:

    ERROR!
    Unable to copy file/dir /var/lib/newscoop/conf/..//themes to /var/lib/newscoop/conf/..//backup/backup-newscoop-2016-03-13-12-02-45.
    I'm using Newscoop 4.2
    Any help would be appreciated.

    You have in the directory where you installed newscoop which user credentials issued?
    In particular directory backup ??
    Try to give her the right to 777 and assign that user directory www-data
    I specifically decided in this way.
