Image renditions and memory
  • It looks like Newscoop doesn't run imagedestroy(); after creating a new rendition. That means that if you have five different renditions, when you add an image you will save five images in memory. To free memory, always run imagedestroy(); after each and every rendition.

This is very important because Newscoop users will typically use a lot of high resolution images on their websites.

Converted into ticket (http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/CS-4908) thanks for this info.
If you are developer then i can say that any Pull request is welcome!
  • I'm not doing it. You should assign it to someone else. I have some experience with PHP, but I got this recommendation from the web host's support technician.
