SoundCloud support for the WebStream URL field. - Airtime Development Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hi there,

Picking up from similar discussion which focuses on ingesting SoundCloud files into the library, I'd like to see a different approach that would allow SoundCloud file paths to be entered into Airtime's WebStream URL field.

No idea how it's done, I but I know it's possible because http://mixlr.com does it.

Would love to hear of any development plans in this area.

Meanwhile, an ugly work-around might be:

Use Mixlr to build SoundCloud playlist.

Have M3W pickup Mixlr output.

Stream M3W to Airtime.

M3W will stream any local sound but the priority here is to maintain web based control over Airtime content.
