Albert, The Airtime feature allows a third party to connect directly to Liquidsoap and that stream is then rebroadcast. I think you are thinking the opposite where Liquidsoap is the one that initiates a connection to a third party source and rebroad…

Hi Albert, From what I understand, you want an external stream source to connect to Liquidsoap on port 80? Only processes running as root can open ports 1024 and lower. We don't support that since Liquidsoap does not run as root user.

media-monitor / log rotation
You don't need to do that. Just edit this file to change when the log is rotated /usr/lib/airtime/media-monitor/logging.cfg The default size is 10 MB.

@Rik, I'm curious why you would want to install the services into a chroot environment? Also, the error messages displayed by media-monitor might help. I suspect it had something to do with an import "mpQueue" not defined?

Hi Wade, Unfortunately we didn't have time to squeeze this into the RC/final (as you can see we are already a little past our May 22nd target date). This is something we may look into for 2.1.1.

Calendar, shows and playlists, why? :)
At the moment we have an artificial limit of 24 hours since we didn't foresee anyone requiring a show long than that period. We may change our mind on this in the future...
