Could you elaborate a bit. Are there any logs in the browser console? Any error messages in /var/log/airtime/zendphp.log or /var/log/apache2/error.log?

You will also need to install the aacplusenc library. You can get it from medibuntu: http://www.medibuntu.org/ It's not a free package and therefore not in the Ubuntu/Debian repositories.
