This is an interesting idea. This isn't something we support yet, but you could create a ticket for it, and we'll definitely consider it for a future release.

Nicolas, When you have the most up-to-date liquidsoap/pypo, then you shouldn't see the "new client" message being logged every second. Once I know you have the latest version of liquidsoap/pypo, we can work from there.

Nicolas, can you try going to airtime/python_apps/pypo/install and try "sudo python pypo-install.py" It looks to me like the upgrade script didn't update your liquidsoap properly.
