The php.INI timezone shouldn't need to be changed, try with the other 3 first to match them.

Lots of sound file 2.4/5 issues which probably have a common cause.
Mono files not playing out was a bug in 2.4 that was fixed in 2.4.1 It might be better to try out Airtime 2.4.1, or even 2.5.0 RC to see if any of these problems go away for you. I'm not aware of a bitrate constraint, but perhaps there could be…

hmm I had no problem adding content when I was testing this, but maybe I missed something. Were you adding playlists/files/webstreams?

Did you modify anything else when you were adding this line to the script? Maybe see if there is some message in /var/log/airtime/zendphp.log when you are having these errors on the now playing page.
