Can Superdesk do this?
  • Does superdesk allow me to do the following.
    • Add/update articles via a API as I don't think I can update articles based on an external ID?
    • Create article template with any number of fields? Currently I have an article that requires 18 different fields.
    • Article/Content revisions? So I can see a history of what's changed in an article.

  • I think so, not sure about the api requirements you have, but there is rest api we use from javascript client.
    There are content profiles where you can add custom fields to article, and versioning is supported.
