We use idjc (internet deejay console) and icecast. The main difficulty is create a master mount and mix other stream and mount in it.
For example,
Master Mout is A ("Florence") /airtime.mp3
at 9pm I have another live stream from "turin"(called B) /turin.mp3
My temporary solution is to copy the stream (B, "Turin") with Streamripper and put the new file in the idjc playlist.
Problem.
Can not be automated, lag (3-7 minuts), stream B can drop connection.
This is a very common problem, and I think it can be easily solved by airtime.
My idea would be to give priority to the stream.
Airtime play the playlist scheduled, until the stream is created B. Then airtime takes the audio stream from stream B and mixes in the stream A (the main stream)

The stream rebroadcasting feature is planned for a forthcoming release
of Airtime. You're right that there is a lot of demand for it :-)
