Newbie- installation - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hi,

I've follow the instructions at http://wiki.sourcefabric.org/display/CC/Installing+Airtime+(v1.6.1)

What is the page of airtime, because when I write http://localhost:8000, I'm on the Icecast2, not airtime...

please see the result :

ls -l /etc/apache2/sites-enabled

total 0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2011-03-03 15:13 000-default -> ../sites-available/default
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 36 2011-03-03 15:28 airtime -> /etc/apache2/sites-available/airtime

And the page is always the basic apache page Crying or Very Sad

My installation of Ubuntu 10.10 is clean (on VMWare player), and I've followed the instruction step by step Embarrassed

ohh, that's bad. You need to edit airtime file and set up properly path to you artime/public folder

after that just reload apache again

Are you able to connect to the stream?

If so, did you schedule a show in airtime and put music into it?

I'm in the same spot this guy was. how do I "edit airtime file"
when i run this:
unlink /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default
/etc/init.d/apache2 reload

i get this:cannot unlink `/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default': Permission denied

Try

sudo a2ensite airtime

Make sure you restart your apache server after with

sudo service apache2 restart

Ok i had the same problems with apache on ubuntu 10.10, but now thew next i got airtime but an phtml file so firefox ask who todo with this file. How can i make this workable

I know I try to explain I think it has todo with php but let see. I am open the browser on this url http://localhost/airtime then a screen appear with the request what todo the phtml file open it or place it somewhere in your directory. I espected the starting wizard for airtime, btw other like newscoop does do the same thing, I am working in ubuntu 10.10

try:
sudo a2enmod php5

after restart apache server:
sudo service apache2 restart

it is due a problem i think php and apache something went wrong and therefor it cannot read the phtml file in the browser i did the request, but it said php already enabled.
Can there be an rong rule in the php or apache config?

you can make simple php file like test.php with content:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

put this into airtime/public folder and try to load from browser http://yoursite/test.php

You should see standard php information. Otherwise you have wrong apache/php configuration.

Yes thats was all fine. However I changed the chmod in the appache2 default and worked instantly. but i have newscoop aswell and airtime worked fine, but the next day restarting the engine it saids that they cannot find any pages and asked if something is moved Fout 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE)or even put it off but i didn't what is going on here. It seems i understand more and more this config. I am having an radiostation soon and i want airtime on a server hoop this will work aswell
