    Airtime, formerly known as Campcaster, has been released as version 1.6.1. Airtime is Sourcefabric's open radio software for scheduling and remote station management.

    Airtime 1.6.1 improves the stability of prolonged audio playout, fixing an occasional crash that happened after around 48 hours of continual scheduled playout. Two other fixes are included: one security patch, and another fix for editing of audio metadata. Users are strongly recommended to download and upgrade.

    I updated from the latest git but the login screen still shows 1.6.0 Is there another way to verify the version?

    Hi Verheek.

    We've merged the 1.6.1 changes into the master branch. You can checkout "airtime-1.6.1" branch if you'd like to use the latest stable version, or just do a git pull on the master branch for the latest dev (1.7.0-alpha) version.

    I was testing Airtime for a production radio. I'm almost ready to use 1.6.0 (spite some metadata problems..) because 1.6.1 just doesn't allow me to delete files from the list. I've checked dir permissions, etc. They seem do desapear from de str/ but not from de database. Also, the metadata don't appear in icecast...

    Are you using the 1.6.1 tarball, or did you pull it from git?

    You're right, that's a bug - I've just filed it.

    Is that for files that you've deleted, or for all files?

    Metadata updating has already been implemented in the version coming out in
    April. :)
