fresh setup with Custodian sample site

    Hi,

    a few questions...

    I want to set up another instance of Newscoop, this time with the Custodian sample site.

    How do I go about this?

    I downloaded the regular tarball for 3.5 plus the tarball for the Custodian sample site (some 17 MB).

    How do I do this? Do I unzip that tarball and place it where the corresponding files of the other template are and do an install?

    Or do I install the Journal version without samples and then - err - do what with the Custodian stuff?

    Also, is that version I downloaded endowed with working subscriptions?

    Sorry to sound so daft, but I really am trying to wrap my brains around this Very Happy

    hi,

    open backup/restore manager ( http://new.flossmanuals.net/newscoop/ch004_backup-and-upgrad e.html)

    then upload the template set tarball and run restore

    by default template set has one account admin : admin

    I get an error when looking at blogposts of that sample site:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSEIF in /home/cms/public_html/templates_cache/%%2F^2F9^2F9228F1%%com ment-handler.tpl.php on line 27
