Scheduling Calendar
  • I just installed the latest git and tried out the new scheduling entry. It's nice that it's on the same page. Problem is I find I'm trying to work off the bottom of the screen when the box expands to enter Who, When, etc. Most of the time I'm working via VNC with a 1024x768 resolution. Would it be possible to expand up to fit in the same space as the name and description of the show?

    Naomi -
I agree with Jeremy, I think we should put it back to the tabbed interface.

  • Hey, the reason we went with that interface was so we could open all panels
that had errors if there was a problem with the form data to display to the
user. this isn't possible with tabs.

  • also you can close each panel once you're done filling it out, it would be
the same as tabs that way.

  • I've changed it so that you can also close the what panel now to save space.

  • also another small change I just made to avoid confusion, the "who" panel no
longer requires selection in the add show form. any admin user by default
can modify/schedule in any show so if no user of type"host" is selected by
default only admin users have access to that show.

  • I did like the fact it went to the panel with the error. Overall it was a nice layout it was just tricky that it opened downwards on lower res screens which can be the case with servers.
I'll install the updates and see what it's like.
