Help needed with Journal Template

    Hi,

    for some reason the three-some row of highlights at the top and the "also on this site" row have ceased displaying articles.

    Can someone please point me at the solution to get this working again? hanks!

    Hi,

    highlights are those articles which have custom switch 'highlight' switched on, it is defined in the set_thejournal/_tpl/top-highlights.tpl template

    {{ list_articles length="3" ignore_issue="true" ignore_section="true" order="bydate desc" constraints="highlight is on" }}

    while news in the 'Also in this site' are 12 articles chosen between those that are not already shown as highlights and top stories (all switches switched off - set_thejournal/_tpl/front-also-categories.tpl)

    PS: I feel daft for having to keep asking such things, but I so far haven't found any clearcut docu on all this. Is there a place where to find this in the manuals etc.?

    I'm new to newscoop and feel that learning th etemplates is one area that
    needs to be covered in more detail maybe using screeencasts.

    Hi,

    I second that!

    For some reason nothing shows in those two rows, even though I have articles with highlight switch on and without anything selected. So something else must be wrong. What could that be?

    And I tried to set up a new article type - with two fields of multilined text. However, again for some reason they do not both show, only the first one.

    The manuals are really not much help with this, and search in the forums neither. Sad

    I do need a solution for this, the site is to go online by tonight. So those two code snippets really ought to work...

    Is it possible that my lack of Cron jobs is related to the problem?
