Hello all,
As you (should) know, we introduced the Universal List as separate (and
undocumented feature -- well, it's kind of self-explanatory) in 3.4. Its
function is to list all articles regardless of their issue, section, and you
can filter the view by date ranges, topics, authors etc. and it also allows you
to perfom full-text search
"Universal List" was a development name that doesn't tell much to the
uninitiated. Now that the feature is mature, we should name it more
intuitively. The candidates that come to mind are (and mind you it sits in the
Content menu)
1. Find
2. Search
3. Browse
4. Search and browse (perhaps too long)
Any bright ideas (and please think about possible translations)?

Everything else in the "Content" is named by what type of content it is:
"Publications", "Comments",etc. So I would suggest simply calling it
"Articles".

Articles sounds pretty good to me. Simple is good. It'd be good to hear from
Daniel as well, who's been poring over Campsite with a fresh pair of eyes.

I would suggest:
All articles
as the new name, to differentiate the Universal List from the article view
that you get when following the Publication -> Issue -> Section menu
hierarchy.
In my magazine editing days, I would not re-edit an article after
publication - there was too much work to do for the next issue. So I would
have used the menu hierarchy instead, to concentrate on the articles for
the current issue in preparation.
However, it would have been useful to an overview of 'All articles' when
making cross-references to earlier articles, while subbing. Freelance
writers would often miss the fact that a particular topic was covered in a
previous issue. I'd trim that part of the article, and drop in a
cross-reference, so that regular readers didn't get annoyed with
repetitions. It proves that you read your own magazine :-)
