OpenSuse Compatibility

    I am wondering if Campcaster is compatible with any flavors of *nix, such as OpenSuse, or is it only for Ubuntu? We are looking to replace an existing solution on Suse 11.1 or 11.2, and found Campcaster, but there doesn't seem to be any OS requirements listed.

    In theory, Campcaster could run on any GNU/Linux distro, but in 1.4.x
    the packaging requirements are complex, due to a number of customised
    libraries.

    I would recommend that you consider the forthcoming 1.6 release, which
    will be a great deal simpler to install. It will have standard package
    dependencies such as postgresql and php, which can be found in any
    server distro. The 1.6 release is due on the 17th December.
