Unable to build development environment under Lucid

    Hi,

    I tried today to install the Campcaster development environment, but got an error during the build. I'm running a fairly clean install of 10.04 "Lucid" and followed closely the instructions on the wiki.

    I say it was a "fairly clean" install because I had the Campcaster beta packages installed, but removed them completely before starting the dev environment setup process.

    The process exited with the following error:

       * Creating user 'root'...PHP Notice:  Undefined variable: fid in /home/douglas/src/Campcaster/src/modules/storageServer/var/BasicStor.php on line 1384

   * ERROR: DB_Error Object

    The versions of various packages in Lucid aren't compatible with the
    current state of the Campcaster git repository. It's not unusual for new
    versions of Ubuntu to break older packages.

    For now, I'm recommending everyone to stick with Karmic, as Campcaster
    1.4.0-beta4 is known to work there. Karmic is a supported Ubuntu release
    until April 2011.
