    AFAIK, that feature has never existed, so I'm not sure how it got in the
    manual! Let's remove it from the manual so as to not confuse people.

    Sure, I can do that.

    For the future, do you think users need crossfades in scheduled content,
    based on metadata for audio type (e.g. news: zero seconds, interview:
    zero seconds, music: two seconds)?

    I think our users would be the ones to answer that, but it certainly sounds
    like a good idea.
